Sinus, Allergy & Nasal Disorders

Allergy and sinus problems are no fun! We evaluate your symptoms, employing scratch tests; or, even nasal endoscopy, and/or blood work if necessary. Used for more than 100 years, skin testing is the most reliable form of allergy testing and is considered to be the gold standard. 

Audiology & Hearing

 Crackling or popping sounds in the ears.  Muffled hearing.  Ringing in the ears.  Are you experiencing any of these symptoms?  If so, you might be a candidate for the Eustachian Tube Balloon Dilation System.  Other symptoms include ears feeling like they are clogged or “under water”.

Balloon Sinuplasty

Behind your facial bones and surrounding the nose are pockets full of air called sinuses. Mucus drains through openings in each sinus.  Sinusitis is inflammation of the sinus lining, which impacts normal drainage. Sinusitis is often caused by infections or blockage of the sinus openi

Dizziness & Balance

When patients are experiencing dizziness or balance problems, it can be a frustrating and scary experience. Through careful questioning and testing, we as a team can help you eliminate, reduce or develop strategies to cope with your dizziness.

Ear Infection

Ear infections (acute otitis media) are usually a bacterial or viral infection that affects the middle ear, the air-filled space behind the eardrum. Children are more likely than adults to get ear infections, and they are frequently are painful.

Snoring & Sleep Apnea

When you sleep, your muscles relax. The tissues of your upper airways narrow. If narrowed enough, tissues will flutter as air passes through as you inhale and exhale. There is a direct relationship between being overweight and having a narrower airway, so it is important for patients to lose weigh

Certified Audiologists

Valley ENT has a certified audiologist and two certified OTO-Techs on staff trained to specifically obtain hearing information for children and adults who exhibit problems for a variety of reasons. They may test you with a traditional hearing test or use newer technology to obtain information from individuals who may not be able to complete the traditional tests. These tests include: audiograms, tympanometry, otoacoustic emissions, and threshold auditory brainstem response (ABR) testing.  Our audiologist also performs specialized testing called electronystagmography (ENG) testing, which is used to evaluate and diagnose conditions that cause dizziness and vertigo.
